Sleep Well Opening Second Location

CARLSBAD NM, February 15, 2018 — Alamogordo based Sleep Well retail store is expanding operations into the Carlsbad New Mexico area. This is the second location for the company and will be a much larger location than the original storefront.  The square footage of the new store is 10,000 sq ft, almost 8 times bigger than the Alamogordo store.

Javier Casillas, the owner of Sleep Well, expects operations to be in full swing by the first of March.  The store is open for business and all facets are operable, however, the product is still not all in place, this the reasoning behind the March 1st opening date. “Our customers know what to expect when they come into our stores and to start calling the store fully opened before we are capable of reaching their expectations, just isn’t good business on our part”, states Javier.  The new store will carry several mattress lines, from Southerland, TechnoGel, BeautyRest, Sierra Sleep, and King Koil.  “Our store is known for its consultation style of customer service, and this new location will be no different” – Gretchen Garrett, owner Sleep Well.

New additions to the Sleep Well team are David Waiters, the General Manager of the Carlsbad location, Richele Denniston, a trained Sleep Retailer with several years experience in the furniture industry.  “We are so happy to be able to have such high-quality salespeople in this new location.” – Javier. 

Sleep Well – Carlsbad, as it is being called, will carry furniture as well as sleep oriented merchandise.  Ashley, Leggett & Platt, and other furniture names can be found in Carlsbad. “We plan on finding fashionable NM decor for our clientele as opposed to just concentrating on the name brand line”-Gretchen. 

The new location also will allow for expansion into a much larger variety of bedding, from comforters to sheets.  “We’re super excited to be able to offer a larger color variety in sheets and comforters” – Gretchen.  Bedding is a fast-growing area in the sleep industry and Sleep Well wants to be known for having quality brands and great colors.
