Post COVID-19 Safety & Cleaning Standards

Out of necessity to provide a safe workplace and shopping environment, Live Well is adjusting and improving our sanitation and cleaning standards to fit within the suggested standards of the Center for Disease Control.

Effective immediately all Live Well locations are to use and maintain these standards.

  1. All merchandise (mattresses, furnishings, bedding, pillows) within the contact range of clientele is to be sprayed with sanitizer at the beginning of each workday.
  2. All counters, door pulls, contact points, and other surfaces are to be sprayed with sanitizer at least 4 times a day.
  3. All bathrooms and contact surfaces within are to be sprayed prior to opening the store.
  4. Carpeting and high traffic walkways need to be sanitized after each customer.
  5. Merchandise demonstrated to customers (i.e., mattresses, seating surfaces, bedding) is to be sanitized prior to allowing reentry of the following customer.
  1. We will adhere to locked door standards until such time as the Center for Disease Control deems a lowered threat period.
  2. We will allow only one set of customers within the store at all times until such time as the Center for Disease Control deems a lowered threat period.
  3. All surfaces MUST be sanitized before reopening for another customer.
  4. At least one minute must pass between surface sanitizing and allowing the next customer to demonstrate a product.
  1. Cash Register, signature screen, and register printer must be sanitized between usage.
  2. Vacuum cleaners must be cleaned out between usage. All floor surfaces must adhere to a strict cleaning schedule to ensure exposure to contaminates limited.
  3. Dusting cloths need to be washed on a regular schedule.
  4. Sanitizer must be kept at ready at both the register area and the entry area.

Unfortunately, due to the increase in sanitation needs, our stores can no longer allow entry of children below the age of 10 unless parental guidance is used to keep the child within the area of the parental unit. The costs associated with sanitizing areas of contact that a child may have within our stores are prohibitive of allowing unruly children within our stores.

We thank our team and customers for their acknowledgment of these necessary standards. We apologize in advance for any discomfort experienced due to the increase in safety adherence. The safety of all individuals is our top of mind principle at all times.
